These are the rules by which all members are required to abide by. Failure to follow these rules may result in you being warned, kicked, or banned from the game.

I. MEMBERSHIP

  1. Only one account per person per household is allowed. If more than one person in your household wants to play, initial account holder must contact an admin so that   he/she may verify validity and decide whether or not to authorize such accounts.

  Having more than one account per person, or more than one unauthorized account per household, is considered being a 'multi' and will result in a ban on all   related accounts.

  2. Creating an account containing offensive and/or vulgar language is not allowed.

  3. Creating an account with the intent of impersonating a staff member is not allowed.

    Regarding #2 and #3: If found, accounts will be deleted and/or perma-banned.

  4. All members must have a VALID and VERIFIED email address and must remain CURRENT at all times. Failure to do so may result in account   suspension under administration discretion.

II. REGIMENT WEBSITES & FORUMS

  1. Regiment Commanders are responsible for all conduct on their websites, WebPages, forums, and any other hyperlinked items, pages, etc.

  2. The main section of the regiment's forum must be open for all staff members to view.

  3. All regiment pages, forums, as well as anything hyperlinked from said pages must abide by all rules stated as if they were hosted on Chain-HQ.com or   affiliated pages itself.

  4. The entry way to a regiment's site will remain open to the staff as well.

  Failure to abide by these rules will result in disbandment of regiment.

III. FORUM & GAME CHAT & LOBBY

  1. Flooding/Scrolling is not allowed.

  2. Profanity and sexually explicit content or language is not allowed.

  3. Racial or other discriminatory remarks are not allowed.

  4. Harassment or insulting to the extreme (Flaming) of any player or staff member is not allowed.

  5. No instructions and/or discussions on how to cheat is allowed. All associated members will be banned.

  6. No arguing with staff members.

  7. No spamming advertisements, recruitments, or requesting games are allowed In the chat of the lobby or game room, the rule has always been to type it   no more than one time per screen.

  8. Typing around the censors in order to type above materials is also not allowed.

  8. Any talk about hacking the game, server, forum, or any affiliated pages will result in a perma-ban.

  9. Excessive use of the REQUEST A MODERATOR button (in the lobby) is not allowed. If after hitting the button 3 times and nobody shows up, and   then nobody is available. Leave a message for them on the forum, via a private message or email.

  10. Failing to comply with the reasonable requests of a staff member who is investigating a complaint may result in a player being kicked or banned.

IV. GAME PLAY

  1. No walking thru walls, hay bails, trees.

  2. No walking off the map edges.

  3. No duplicating weps.

  4. No speed walking (also known as using a warp, or warping) and speed crawling.

    If caught in a warp, just hit the down button to stop your man or men.

  5. Do not steal weps from ghosts in the DZ.

  6. Do not use a glitch to unstun your men after being naded.

  7. Do not purposely die on the flag to prevent the other team from claiming the VPs.

  8. Do not purposely steal VPs through any walls.

  9. If a player is stunned into a wall, tree, hay bail, etc. and would have been without a doubt killed then the stunned player must sacrifice 1 man per stunned man.

  For example: if 2 of Joe's men were stunned into a wall (because he was stacked) and Jack (who threw the nade) is nearby and was trying to
  shoot you but couldn't (because you're in the wall), then the 2 stunned men must HOLD FIRE and die as they should have been. If Jack threw
  the nade and left the area, then disregard.

  Definition: Sacrifice = pressing HOLD FIRE in your control panel for the specific man or men and moving your man or men to the enemy allowing
  the enemy to kill him or them.

  Definition: Stacking = having more than one man (of your four) on the same grid square at the same time.

  10. Leaving regiment games before the expiration of the game is strictly prohibited under any circumstance.
  Leaving a open game prior to the expiration of the game is only permitted if you:

    A) You do not have any subordinates
    B) If you have subordinates, and after notifying the mission commander that you wish to leave and he doesn't take you out of the
    chain of command upon 3 of your requests
    C) You do not have any weps
    D) You offered your weps, but nobody makes any effort to come get them

  11. No hiding in the corners of the map, or anywhere else for that matter, for the sole purpose of not playing just so you can live to get all the
  promotion points at the end of the game.

  12. Do not join the game and then retreat for the same reason stated in #11.

  13. Do not remove wounded men from the DZ.

  14. Do not sit in the DZ just so you can live for the same reason stated in #11 UNLESS the DZ is located in a mission-critical part of the map.

  15. Regiments cannot play against their own regiment in the REGIMENT PLAYOFF rooms.

  16. Intentionally using any glitch mentioned above as well as not stated is not allowed. Each map has its own glitches. If you are unsure of
  what is allowed and what isn't, ask a staff member before doing it.

  17. Joining the defense 3 times consectively will result in a booted from the game and repeated infractions will result in ban.

  18. When teams are even, THE NEXT PLAYER TO JOIN REGARDLESS OF RANK must make every effort to join attacking side, if it’s a neutral map, this can not be applied. ANYONE CAUGHT PURPOSELY stacking the defense WILL BE subject to a Warning / Ban and Booted from the game room!


V. REGIMENTS & BATTALIONS

1. Regiments

  A) A Regiment must be active 2 out of 3 months. If a regiment is inactive (less then 46 reg games and 11 Active Players) for 2 months in any 3 month period it will be disbanded!
  B) A Regiment as a whole can not refuse to play regiment games against another regiment! If proven, the refusing Regiment will be disbanded!
  C) Any conflict between regiments or between opposing regiment members should be resolved by the Regiment Leadership (ie: Reg Co, Reg Xo, or Reg Cos)
  D) Regiment Leadership (Co, Xo, or CoS) of a third regiment can act as a moderator between regiments in conflict (as in item B and C above)
  E) Regiment Co's (of active regiments) will receive an email at their registered CoC email address when any CoC Council issues are brought to a vote.
  F) Regiment Co's are responsible for attending CoC Council Meetings. If a regiment Co can not attend the regiment Xo will represent the regiment.
  G) If both the Regiment Co and Xo can not attend the scheduled council meeting the Regiment Co must notify the game administrators before the meeting of a substitute or the Regiment will not be represented!
  H) When a Regiment Commander becomes inactive for 2 of 3 months without further approval will be replaced as appointed by the Council.
  I) A one time fee of $15 for any new leadership change. Whether it be a change of Commander or a start of a new Battalion.

2. Creation of Battalions

  A) A New Battalion must be created each 6 months. (May and Nov)
  B) Get approval for a Battalion by sending an email to an admin listed on the contact page of the web site.
  C) You must have the Rank of 2nd Lt to form a Battalion
  D) You need a Call Sign, a Battalion Name, and a Forum (the forum needs to be created before the battalion is created)
  E) You must have 5 active members after 2 weeks if this isn’t accomplished the Battalion will be disbanded
  F) The battalion will need 11 actives and 15 members within 3 months of being created.
  G) The Battalion must stay active for 2 months straight 11 actives 46 games played to become a regiment. You have 3 months to achieve this.
  H) While being a Battalion you can not win Top Regiment or Runner-Up Regiment during the month.
  I) A one time fee of $15 for any new leadership change. Whether it be a change of Commander or a start of a new Battalion.

Rules will be added or edited as seen fit and will be made readily available via the website. Changes of any kind to these rules will be Updated on the website and forum as they occur. Failure to read the rules on the website, as well as any updates/changes to the rules is no excuse. Ignorance of the rules will not set you free.


VI. PUNISHMENTS for rule violations

1. Mods to use these punishments

  1st offense= Warning. 2nd offense= 2 hour ban. 3rd offense= 1 day ban. 4th offense= 2 day ban. 5th offense= 3 day ban. 6th offense= 1 week ban.
  7th offense= 2 week ban. 8th offense= 1 month ban. 9th offense= perma ban.
